Baked Mussels

Baked mussels are a savory seafood dish made by topping mussels on the half-shell with a mixture of cheese and seasonings. They are baked until golden and bubbling, creating a flavorful appetizer or snack with a delightful crunch.

1/2kg. Fresh Mussels (Tahong)
1/4tsp. Ginger, crushed
3tsp. Butter or cheese, melted
2 cloves onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. pepper

1. Arrange Tahong or mussels in a baking pan after opening.
2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and spread on top of each mussel.
3. Place on top of the turbo rack of the Turbo Broiler.
4. Cook for 10 minutes at 375°F / 190°C.
