Banana Cake

Banana Cake was invented during the depression era of the 1930's by housewives finding other means of making some extra money at home, during this time baking soda and baking powder is also starting to get popular which was a key ingredient in making these cakes.

Good for 4 to 6 persons

1 1/4 cup All purpose flour
1tsp. Baking Soda
1tsp. Baking Powder
1 cup Brown Sugar
4pcs. Medium Ripe Banana
1tsp. Vanilla Extract
2pcs. Large Egg
1/2 cup Olive oil
2tbsp. Milk

Optional:
Confectioner Sugar
Chocolate Chips

Cooking time: 25 minutes

1. In a medium bowl, mix the egg, oil, sugar, vanilla, milk and mashed banana.
2. Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
3. Scrape the oil into the inner pot.
4. Put the batter into the Imarflex Turbo Cooker inner pot.
5. Close the cover and slide to the left to lock.
6. Plug the Imarflex Turbo Cooker (IPC-600D) into the convenience outlet.
7. Press the ROASTING/BAKE button. The default time (25 minutes) will appear on the LCD.
8. The icon will start blinking and will automatically heat up.
9. When the timer is done, tilt the pressure regulator valve to release the pressure inside.
10. When the cake turns into golden brown, transfer the cake into a rack and let it cool for 15 minutes.
11. Sprinkle the cake with confectioner sugar and chocolate chips.
