Beef Bulalo

Beef Bulalo is a dish from Philippines. Many references have evolved regarding its origin. One of it says that this type of dish originated from Batangas where you can find the many versions of bulalo. Other reference says that it actually came from Tagaytay, which there are lots of cows.

Good for 4 to 6 Persons

1kg Beef Shank
2pcs. Corn, sliced into3
1pc. Petchay Baguio, cut into 4
3pcs. Cardava Banana, sliced into 2
1pc. White Onion, sliced into 4
1 liter Water
1/2 tbsp. Salt
1/2 tbsp. Pepper
2pcs. Beef Cubes
150g. Baguio Beans, sliced

Cooking Time 30 Minutes

1. Wash the beef shank then rub with salt and pepper.
2. Put it into the Imarflex Turbo Cooker inner pot.
3. Add onion, beef cubes, corn, water, caradava banana, baguio beans and petchay on top.
4. Close the cover and slide to the left to lock.
5. Plug the Imarflex Turbo Cooker (IPC-600D) into the convenience outlet.
6. Press the STEAM/SOUP button, the default time (15 minutes) will appear on the LCD. Set and adjust the time to 30 minutes
7. The icon will start blinking and will automatically heat up.
8. When the timer is done, tilt the Pressure Regulator Valve to release the pressure inside.
9. Slide the cover to the right and pull up
10. Transfer into a serving bowl. Best to serve with rice.
