1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 squares (2oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Additional chopped nuts
1. Sift together flour and salt.
2. Cream butter until light and fluffy.
3. Mix in vanilla.
4. Add sugar gradually.
5. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
6. Blend in melted chocolate.
7. Add flour mixture gradually and blend in nuts.
8. Pour into a prepared pan.
9. Bake in the turbo broiler for 25 to 30 minutes at 350°F / 175°C.
10. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
