Hainanese Chicken

Hainanese Chicken is a dish adapted from early Chinese immigrants originally from the Hainan province in southern China. It is considered one of the national dishes of Singapore.

Great source of Protein, Fiber, Vitamin B and Essential Minerals.

Good for 4 to 5 persons

1kg. Whole Chicken
1tsp. Salt
1 pinch Pepper
1tbsp. Garlic, minced
1tbsp. Ginger, minced
12tbsp. Onion leaves, chopped
2pcs. Pandan Leaves
2tbsp. Sesame oil

Cooking time: 25 minutes

1. Wash the chicken.
2. Place the pandan leaves into the Imarflex Turbo Cooker inner pot.
3. Put the chicken (breast part facing the top) into the inner pot and season with salt, pepper, garlic, ginger and sesame oil.
4. Close the cover and slide to the left to lock.
5. Plug the Imarflex Turbo Cooker (IPC-600D) into the convenience outlet.
6. Press the ROASTING/BAKE button, the default time (25 minutes) will appear on the LCD.
7. The icon will start blinking and will automatically heat up.
8. When the timer is done, tilt the Pressure Regulator Valve to release the pressure inside.
9. Slide the cover to the right and pull up to open.
10. Transfer into a serving plate. Best to serve with rice.
