Herb Lemon Rice

Herb lemon rice is a flavorful side dish made by cooking rice with a combination of fresh herbs and a tangy lemon zest, creating a refreshing and aromatic taste. It's the perfect accompaniment to a variety of main dishes, offering a light and zesty balance of flavors.

1 cup White Rice
1 tbsp. Coconut oil
1/4 tsp. Salt
Zest of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp. Dried Basil
1 tsp. Dried Oregano
Chicken stock
Juice of 1/2 lemon

1. Measure and wash 1 cup of rice directly in the inner pot (strainer) of the Imarflex Starch Reducer Multi-cooker (IRM-247GTS).
2. Combine the coconut oil, salt, lemon zest, dried basil, and dried oregano with the rice. Pour chicken stock up to the '1' Low Sugar water line.
3. Place the inner pot (strainer) into the outer pot.
4. Close the lid and plug the multi-cooker into the convenience outlet.
5. Press the LOW SUGAR button three (3) times for the fluffier rice texture.
6. Press START button to start.
7. After approximately 45 minutes, you can open the lid and remove the inner pot (strainer).
8. Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice.
