Low Sugar Chicken Rice

Low sugar chicken rice is a healthy meal made with seasoned chicken and rice, prepared with minimal or no added sugars, offering a savory and wholesome flavor. It’s a balanced dish that provides lean protein and carbohydrates, perfect for a nutritious and satisfying meal.

2 cups chicken stock
1 cup rice
1/2 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
1/2 tbsp. Sesame Oil
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 cup Frozen Peas (optional)

1. Measure and wash 1 cup of rice directly in the inner pot (strainer) of the Imarflex Starch Reducer Multi-cooker (IRM-257GTS).
2. Combine the low sodium soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt.
3. Pour chicken stock in the outer pot, up to the '1' Low sugar water line.
4. Place the inner pot (strainer) into the outer pot.
5. Press the LOW SUGAR button three (3) times for the FLUFFIER rice texture.
6. Press START button to start the cooking process.
7. After approximately 45 minutes, you can open the lid and remove the inner pot (strainer).
8. Add frozen peas, if desired, and stir to combine. The heat of the rice will cook them in just a minute or two.
