Meat Loaf (Embutido)

Embutido is a Filipino-style meatloaf made with ground pork, mixed vegetables, raisins, and seasonings, often stuffed with hard-boiled eggs and/or sausages. It’s wrapped in foil and steamed or baked, resulting in a flavorful dish that’s perfect for celebrations or everyday meals.

1kg. Ground pork
2pcs. Chorizo, finely chopped
2/3 cup Pickle relish
1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed
1/4kg. Shrimps, shelled, chopped
8pcs. Egg, Boiled and sliced
2tbsp. Cornstarch, dissolved in water
2tbsp. Sugar
3pcs. Onion, minced
1pc. Carrot, grated
1tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1tbsp. Salt
1tsp. Ground pepper

1. Mix all ingredients.
2. Divide mixture into 6 equal portion.
3. Put mixture on aluminum foil and wrap into cylindrical shape, twist the edges.
4. Pour 10 cups of water inside the glass pot, put the mixture on top of the high turbo rack of your Turbo Broiler.
5. Use the extension ring.
6. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes at 375°F / 190°C.
