Paella

Paella is a Spanish rice that includes different combinations of vegetables and meats, characteristically seasoned with saffron, but also has tother spices depending on the recipe and area in Spain it comes from.

Great source of Protein, Calcium, B vitamins, vitamin C and carbohydrates.

Good for 4 to 6 persons

2 cups Glutinous Rice (Malagkit)
1 cup Jasmine Rice
1/2 cup Red or Green Bell Pepper, strips
1/2 cup / 70g. Chorizo Bilbao, strips
80g. Raisins
70g. Tomato Paste
1/2 cup Coconut Milk
1cup Chicken Breast, strips
1/4 cup onion, sliced
1/2 Garlic, chopped
1 cup / 2 pcs. Chicken Broth (dissolved)
1/2 cup Green Peas, frozen
1tbsp. Liquid Seasoning

Cooking time: 12 minutes

1. Wash both rice twice or until relatively clear.
2. Mix the rice, tomato paste and water into the inner pot.
3. Add the chicken breast, green peas, sliced onion, garlic, chorizo, raisin and top with red or green bell pepper in the Imarflex turbo cooker (IPC-600D) inner pot.
4. Pour in the coconut milk and chicken broth.
5. Close the cover and slide to the left to lock.
6. Plug the Imarflex Turbo Cooker (IPC-600D) into the convenience outlet.
7. Press the RICE button, the default time (12 minutes) will appear on the LCD.
8. The icon will start blinking and will automatically heat up.
9. When the timer is done, tilt the pressure regulator valve to release the pressure inside.
10. Slide the cover to the right and pull up to open.
11. Place the cooked tice in a platter and serve hot.
