Pandesal
Pandesal is a popular Filipino bread roll, known for its soft, fluffy texture and slightly sweet flavor, often enjoyed as a breakfast or snack. When baked, it forms a golden, slightly crispy crust, while remaining tender and warm on the inside, making it a comforting and versatile addition to any meal.
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1tsp. Salt
2 cups Milk, lukewarm
1pc. Egg
2 tbsp. Butter
1 1/2tsp. Instant Dry Yeast
1 cup Breadcrumbs
1. Plug the Imarflex Electric Mixer (IMX-420S) with the dough hook attachment.
2. Mix the flour, yeast, sugar, salt together.
3. Pour in milk, beaten egg and melted butter knead on Speed 1 to 4 (Low Speed) until becomes smooth and elastic.
4. Place it in a bowl with oil and cover with a kitchen towel and place it in a warm area and let it rise for 1 hour.
5. Punch down the dough and divide evenly into 12 pieces.
6. Shape each piece into a ball and roll it in breadcrumbs.
7. Cover with a towel and let it rise for 30 minutes.
8. While waiting, preheat the Imarflex Convection and Rotisserie Oven (IT-480CRS) at 185°C.
9. Bake the Pandesal for 15 minutes or until the sides are a bit browned.
