Slow Cook Asian Beef

Slow cook Asian beef is a tender, flavorful dish where beef is slow-cooked in a savory blend of soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and other Asian spices until it becomes melt-in-your-mouth soft. The slow cooking process enhances the deep umami flavors, making it a rich and satisfying meal often served with rice or vegetables.

1/4 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Beef Broth
1/8 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp. Sesame Seeds
1/2 tbsp. Cornstarch
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 tbsp. Freshly grated Ginger
1kg. Bone-in Beef Short Ribs, cut crosswise into 2" pieces

1. In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch.
2. Rinse the beef short ribs and dry with a paper towel.
3. Place the beef into the Imarflex 8 in1 Digital Multi-cooker (IRM-1808DS).
4. Stir in soy sauce mixture until well combined.
5. Close the lid and plug the multi-cooker into the convenience outlet.
6. Press the SLOW COOK 'LOW' button once. The default time is 8 hours.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds, if desired.
